Happy Dragon Boat Festival | 端午节快乐! 25.06.2020


Happy Dragon Boat Festival or Happy Dumpling Festival to those who celebrate! 
I just could not forget how happy the times we spent in college especially when you participate college activities and get to know more friends. Above second photo is the banner for the Dragon Boat Festival event. Well~ that is my idea and creation so I definitely recall the memories we had. Of course with the helps of other members to complete it (materials, cutting and printing). Third photo is some of  the members in the Chinese Cultural Socity (CCS). Haha so young huh... 😜 
So enjoy having dinner with your family and eating lots of dumplings...hahaha

Thai Style Steamed Squid | Pla Muk Neung Manao | 泰式蒸苏东



We just love Thai Food. Hence, I decided to make this spicy-licious fish to satisfy my cravings. I don't expect it to be that easy to make it. The only trouble is have to defrost the squid, clean and cut. The smell of freshness of the squid which I personally don't like. Hahaha.

Ingredients (for 2 servings):
  • Squids 
  • Minced garlic - 3 cloves 
  • 4 limes
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar 
  • Some coriander leaves
  • Birdeye Chili - 5 to 6 small size

Weekend

Seriously looking forward to weekend to rest our brain. However, sometimes if no time to cook or lazy during weekend. Really had no idea what to eat. Even bored from eating outside food. Lunch yesterday, Saturday afternoon had Thai food that we have tried few times. Weird, is not that nice as usual. Maybe different person cook it. So here it is the Petai Prawn Rice.

Thai Basil Minced Pork Recipe| 泰式九层塔炒肉碎




Slurrpp~~ cooked our favourite dish, Thai Basil Minced Pork! 
Forgot to add the cucumber..that is a need as well.

Ingredients (for 2 servings):
  • A bunch of basil leaf
  • Minced Pork
  • Minced Garlic - 2 cloves
  • 6 Birdeye Chili - depends on your liking 
  • Fish Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Oyster Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Light Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp

Homemade Yong Tau Foo (酿豆腐) with Fish Paste Recipe



Ingredients (for 2 servings):

1. 10 Red Chilis 
2. 6 Okra
3. 2 Eggplant (eggplant skin not nice already, so peel it off)
4. Fish Paste (bought ready made)
5. Chicken Stock (1 cube)
6. Salt to taste
7. White Pepper to taste

Hello guys! well am back to blogging after some time..should be after several yearss. Haha.
First thing first, don't mind my grammar in the post since I'm a Malaysian and using Manglish all the time. 😂 Basically, am back to blogging is to distract my stress from work life or personal life to here. Will blog on cooking recipes (intermediate skills)? after few months of cooking. Seriously, I do not found the interest in cooking all the while. However, during this Movement Control Order (MCO) due to COVID-19 pandemic happened in Malaysia, I've started learn how to cook some dish for both husband and myself to prevent from starving to death. Nah~ still can Grab Delivery 😆 Thereafter, slowly I'm into cooking and cooked our favorite dish.
Hence, gladly to share some simple yet delicious dish (husband gave a thumbs up and approved consider delicious)💗 in the upcoming post.
