Simple Homemade Sushi Rolls & Nigiri Sushi

 


Ingredients:

  • Japanese rice - 2 cups
  • Nori
  • Rice Vinegar
  • Sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Crab stick 
  • Japanese cucumber 
  • Kimchi
  • Eggs - 4 

Procedure: 

1) Cook the Japanese rice and once is cooked. Just add the rice vinegar mixture (sugar and salt) meanwhile slicing the rice. Slicing motions is not to spoilt the rice texture. Thereafter, let the rice to cool down. 
2) Cook the sweet eggs with pan. When is cooked down, can cut into pieces. Will try to show how to cook in the next video. 
3) I have prepared the vinegar with added some water. The purpose is to lightly wet the hands so the rice won't not stick. 
4) Cut the nori into strips to do Nigiri Sushi. 
5) For Nigiri Sushi, grab a small amount of  rice and put the crab stick/ sweet eggs on top of the rice and tie the nori strips around it. 
6) Ready the nori and place the shiny side down. 
7) Place some amount of rice on top of nori and make it even and leave some gap till the end of nori. I think I need to do it properly at this part. Haha. 
8) Put the ingredients you want and ready to roll it. 
9) Just repeating the steps. 
10) For finally, is done!! The whole process is quite tiring cause is very tedious. Even to be said is a simple food. Well, maybe I am a begginer (first attempt) Haha. Satisfied for sure when you enjoyed the sushi. 😇
